Be A Man

(If you are a man)

If you are not, just read it so you can identify a man when you see one.

In this age of political correctness, it is not always popular to say "be a man" or "man up". Using these words gets one tagged with sexist labels. Adding "ist" to the end of a word does not always mean it becomes bad. Artist is not bad, neither is philanthropist.

While it is not always popular to point out there are differences between the two sexes, there definitely are. If anyone one is confused, there are other websites that explain the differences. I won't be linking to any of them, but as has been said, "Google is your friend".

Welfare and food stamps - should be for women and children, not for healthy working age men. There should be government & church run soup kitchens for anyone that is hungry to eat at. There is no reason that a healthy man should get a check/card to buy food with to take home. If you start readjusting people's minds to understand that if they are hungry, they go to work and earn something to buy it with. Working age men should have a job and it is not wrong that they should feel shame if they do not.

Women in combat - It does not make a woman "less" to point out that the average woman is smaller. Women are generally kinder and less able to kill there fellow man with violence. It is in the genetics of men to look out for women since they have the babies, genetically a man can father a lot of kids with little effort where a woman invests much time to bear few children. While there are enough men volunteering, I hope to not see a reason to have female infantry/artillery/armor. Maybe we need to go the other way, our warriors should have a minimum height and perhaps a short period of time to gain their first black belt before they are allowed promotion to NCO. Our warriors that we send to fight should be the meanest & most effective killers we bring to the battlefield.

Women should go through the door before a man.

Women & children first when lifeboats are involved should never be questioned.

If you are a man and people depend on you, go to work. A man goes to work, goes on time, & doesn't wimp out when the going gets tough.

If you don't like what you are doing or what management does, quit & find something you do like to do. If you don't you will become mean & miserable. It takes some of us longer to learn this than it does others.

People that know me are familiar with hearing me say certain things. Many of these things are sayings that refer to how bad it could be, but is not. My opinion is that it could always be worse. I often think that no how bad I have it, someone has it worse and often much worse. There are people out there that would kill to have what I have, so I shouldn't complain about house woes because someone is living in a box they found. He doesn't have it as bad as the guy that couldn't find a box to sleep in. I have a pretty good life, mostly because I bust my hump and hit it pretty hard when I need to. Because I have a good life, I feel like it is my responsibility (more than the federal government) to help other folks out. Here are some good links to worthy folks if you have trouble finding your own.
